The Universe has a way of making things happen in a very different way than we do and in quite ingenious ways.

Get out of the way! Huh? This is what the Universe is constantly telling me: Get out of the way. I didn’t truly get this until recently. I am by nature a planner, an organizer and a highly detailed person, so of course I have brought this to my meditations and my visualizations, a bit too much. When I learned the art of visualization, I understood the part about creating all the details such as when I wanted a new house.  I, of course, thought in great detail about the floor plan, the colors on the wall, the curtains and all the amenities I wanted in the house. This I am good at. But, I continued to be told  to get out of the way and was very confused. I did my meditations, I felt the feelings, I got detailed about what I wanted and of course, being the planner that I am I had to jump in and figure out a way for this to happen. Well not all things happen the way we want them to (sigh) and maybe they shouldn’t. Why? Because the Universe has a way of making things happen in a very different way than we do and in quite ingenious ways I have to admit. I have learned recently to just hold the vision of the outcome, feel the joy and happiness and let go of the “how” and let the Universe find the way. Not my natural inclination I have to tell you, but as I do this, the Universe has come through sooner and with much better paths than the ones I have thought of.
