Visualizing our hopes and dreams is a powerful way to create and manifest them into being.

The more you visualize your dream, the stronger that force becomes, pulling things, people and events into shape and form.

Over the years much has been written about this incredible tool, yet many either do not use it or give up on the process before their dream begins to manifest. When we visualize consistently and nothing seems to happen it can feel like a frustrating waste of time. But in truth the visualization process, when it appears to not be working, will point out where we are out of alignment with our dream.

So how do you find where the misalignment is?

Begin by watching your thoughts and feelings closely. Are you trying to create something you feel you cannot have or cannot create? Is your goal so far out of reach that you have no hope of attaining it? Do you see yourself trying to fix or change something or someone you believe is unchangeable? Do you feel doubt or overwhelm when you think about creating your dream? Perhaps you see no way of getting from here to there. Go within and find the places that creates conflict or where your beliefs do not match your dream. Work with a counselor, healer, friend or healing technique to work through the places of misalignment, the conflicts.

Once the conflicts are resolved the dream has a greater chance of manifesting. Sometimes the dream will shift to include new options or ways to achieve your dream that you hadn’t thought of before. Many times a new solution or greater dream will reveal itself, even a new way to achieve it. Each time you work through and resolve a conflict take the time to recreate your vision and hold it firmly in your mind. It takes time to begin the forward movement of a dream. Once it begins moving the momentum builds and the dream takes form quickly. Being consistent is the key. Visualize daily. The more often you visualize your dream, the quicker the movement begins. If you quit for a day or two, a week, then the momentum slows or stops. Keep it going – consistently. Visualize each day. Consider it a prayer. It is your offering to the Universe. This is your prayer for your life.

Combining visualization with a creation process is a technique I have used over the years that works very well.  A creation process is one that takes a step by step approach to attaining your dream. It combines the visualization process, meditations, actions in the physical world and a series of exercises to help you shape and expand your vision. There are several books I have tried that contain a specific process, intentions, actions and thought provoking questions. Some use the chakra system others astrology or the Tree of Life. Each work well. When I work with a creation process I find that my focus and visualizations work more effectively. Basically it’s a guideline to success.

Recently I worked with “Creating On Purpose” and enjoyed their process. This book outlines a process that works through the chakras. It brings your dream in through the seventh chakra – complete visualization – all the way down through the first chakra – complete manifestation. Don’t get me wrong, it is work and it takes some time. But all the work and time are worth the effort. I have created and manifested several dreams with this process.

Do you have a dream that is worth your time and effort?
